We’re Here for You

Having or caring for someone with a bleeding disorder such as hemophilia can quickly turn life upside-down. Establishing a new normal takes time, strength, and access to trusted resources and unwavering support. At NCHS, we focus exclusively on bleeding disorders, so in every interaction, you’ll encounter experienced, dedicated staff who know how to help you and your loved ones navigate treatment.

The team at NCHS has been serving hemophilia and bleeding disorder patients since 2000. Because of our expertise in bleeding disorders, we know firsthand that every patient’s situation is unique. We’re here to listen and understand how we can best fit your specific needs. Whether you’re new to treatment, a bleeding disorder veteran, or navigating life somewhere in between, your team at NCHS is with you every step of the way.

Clinical Hemophilia Services

Through our hemophilia specialty pharmacy, NCHS dispenses medications to treat hemophilia and bleeding disorder complications that arise from factor deficiencies. Many of our patients have hemophilia A and suffer from a clotting factor 8 deficiency (also known as factor VIII). We also serve patients with clotting factor deficiencies from hemophilia B, von Willebrand disease, and other bleeding disorders.

Patients who receive routine prophylactic infusions often benefit from learning how to self-infuse. As part of our clinical services, we offer information and education for patients who wish to begin a home infusion regimen. We are happy to discuss the hemophilia treatment options that best fit your lifestyle.
